My priorities and areas of focus:

​Housing & Public Transportation

I grew up housing insecure so expanding rental support and creating homeownership opportunities is deeply personal to me. I will strive to save you time and money by delivering on rail/ferry/bus frequency, reducing traffic, and fixing our roads.

Climate & Coastal Resiliency

Coastal communities need increased state support for adaptation measures like coastal defenses and shoreline restoration. Our future is at stake and I will continue to act with urgency. I’ve secured funding for Nahant Beach improvements and will continue to work to fix King Beach. I’ll work with local leaders to prevent coastal flooding and protect homes, open spaces, and businesses.

Education

As a school committee member and husband of a teacher, I deeply understand that we need to upgrade our school buildings, expand early education/pre-k, address the teacher shortage, and prioritize vocational education.

Public Safety & Opioid Crisis

I've secured millions for community and law enforcement partnerships like ROCA and  to combat youth violence. I’ve lost family to the opioid crisis, I know that we need a long-term, regional policy solution to the mental health and substance-use crisis, and I’ve secured funding for programs like the Lynn Behavioral Health Unit.

Seniors & Veterans

Expand senior property tax work-off programs, fight for in-home care opportunities and recreational activities, and ensure seniors can afford to pay their bills. End veteran homelessness and prioritize transitional services and mental health support for all those who served.

Jobs & Economy

I will create local, good-paying union jobs and level the playing field for small businesses by loosening unnecessary roadblocks. Continue to secure funding for the arts like Lynn Main Streets and beautification to stimulate economic development.
